Detroit Diesel 53 Series Parts
The Series 53 2-cycle engine was launched in 1957. It introduced a new design where most parts within a series were interchangeable.
The series 53 is offered in 2, 3, 4, and 6-cylinder inline as well as 6, 8, and 12V-configurations. It is used in various military, industrial, and highway applications.
